Javier Santiago Montano founded How Bizarre Studios in 2020, originally as a stop-motion animation channel on YouTube. It serves as the creative umbrella for all of his projects. The Turtle Nexus launched on February 9, 2022 as a dedicated TMNT research channel under that umbrella.
